AIIMS Patna Faculty Hiring: Deadline extended to Jan 16

The cut-off date for online application is extended to January 16 from earlier December 31 and a hard copy of the application with all enclosures can be sent by January 23, 2023.

AIIMS Patna recently invited applications for various posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. Earlier, the last date for the online application submission was December 31, 2022, and now this date has been extended to January 16, 2023.

The essential qualification required for all the posts of Assistant Professors is a medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956

(candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act). "Essential qualification for the post of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor will remain same as for the post of Assistant Professor of similar discipline," reads AIIMS Patna.

For detailed information on eligibility criteria, interested candidates must visit the official site aiimspatna.edu.in.

"Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like, Date of Birth, Experience (in sequence as mentioned in application), Essential qualification(s) etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in PDF file in such a way that file size does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a print is taken out. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment letter, Relieving letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in Document upload module," added the official statement.

"Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent certificate indicating date of birth, or mark sheet of Matriculation/10th Standard or equivalent issued by Central /State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of claim of age. Where date of birth is not available in certificate/mark sheets, issued by concerned Educational Boards, School Leaving Certificate indicating Date of Birth (in case of Tamil Nadu & Kerala)," further added AIIMS Patna statement.
