AIIMS Raipur has invited applications for entrance examination for admissions in three years DM/MCh Courses for July 2022 session.

AIIMS Raipur: Admissions open for DM/MCh Courses July 2022 session

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur has invited applications through Google form for admissions in three years DM/MCh Courses for July 2022 session. These courses are DM Clinical Infectious Diseases, DM Medical and Forensic Toxicology, DM Paediatric Emergency Medicine, DM Paediatric critical Care, and MCh Joint Replacement and Reconstruction. Each of these courses have one seat.

The last date to apply for these courses is July 20, 2022. As per the notification, a candidate is allowed to submit application for maximum two DM/MCh courses and needs to fill seperate applications for each course. In case of more than 2 applications, the first two applications submitted will be considered.

Essential Qualifications for Admission

Following are the essential qualifications required to apply for these courses (Degrees must be recognized by the Medical Council of India, NMC:

  • DM Clinical Infectious Diseases: The candidate must be MD/DNB in General Medicine, Paediatric, Tropical Medicine or an equivalent qualification.
  • DM Medical and Forensic Toxicology: The candidate must be MD/DNB in Forensic Medicine or Forensic Medicine & Toxicology or Pharmacology or Emergency Medicine or Paediatrics.
  • DM Paediatric Emergency Medicine: The candidate must be MD/DNB in Paediatrics or Emergency Medicine.
  • DM Paediatric Critical Care: MD/DNB in Paediatrics or an equivalent degree.
  • MCh Joint Replacement and Reconstruction: MS/DNB Orthopaedics or equivalent degree.

All these requisite qualifications must be completed by August 31, 2022. The upper age limit is 45 years as on July 1 which is relaxable for OBC candidiates by a maximum of 3 years, for SC/ST candidates by 5 years, for Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officer including ECO, SSCO who have rendered or released on satisfactory assignment, the age relaxation is a maximum of five years. The persons with benchmark disabilities shall be given an upper age relaxation of 05 years for admission to DM, MCh for PWD candidates as per Right of persons with Disability Act, 2016, stated the notification.
