AIIMS Raipur to hire Medical Physicist; Application can be sent by July 1

Interviews will be held at AIIMS Raipur or at any other place and mode as may be decided by the Director, AIIMS Raipur.

The Director of AIIMS Raipur invited applications for the posts of Medical Physicists from Indian nationals in the prescribed format available on the website of AIIMS Raipur (www.aiimsraipur.edu.in). There are a total of 2 openings under the General category for the post of Medical Physicist in the Department of Radiotherapy.

The educational qualification needed is an M.Sc. in Medical Physics or an equivalent recognized university/Institution, or MSC in Physics from a recognized university and a post-graduated diploma/degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university/institute, or MSc in Medical Technology with Radiotherapy as a special subject from a recognized university and/or Diploma in radiation protection and 2 years experience of working in Radiotherapy department of a hospital. The remuneration will be INR 75000.

The duly filled in application form (Annexure-1) along with self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates relating to educational qualifications, experience, age, caste/category etc. should be sent by Speed-Post/Registered Post to Recruitment Cell, AIIMS Raipur so as to reach on or before 01.07.2023. The Institute shall not be responsible for any postal delay" reads the official notification.

The appointment will be purely on a contract basis for a period of 11 months or till such time the regular/alternate appointments against these vacant posts are made, whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of joining. As per the requirement of the Institute and subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbents the period of contract may be extended.
