A workshop was conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh at the College of Nursing on the theme "Teamwork". All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh organised a workshop on the theme "Teamwork".

AIIMS Rishikesh's tweet reads, "Dept of “Medical Humanities” at @aiimsrishi conducted a workshop on the theme of“Teamwork” at College of Nursing focusing on importance of good communication & leadership to ensure good teamwork at workplace & personal space too."

Also, as part of the Y20 run up event, the Department of Anesthesiology at AIIMS Rishikesh and ISA Uttarakhand conducted training for Security Guards under "Compression only life support" awareness month.

"Training youth towards better management of COPD as a run up event to Y20 consultation: Webinar series initiated by Emergency Medicine Department, under the guidance of ED, Prof. Meenu Singh and Experts Dr. Srinivas Samavedam," says another tweet by AIIMS Rishikesh.

AIIMS Rishikesh to organise SOPICON from May 11 to May 12

The conference intends to provide a platform for discussion about different issues pertaining to the safety of medicinal products ranging from the quality of pharmaceuticals to pooled analysis of safety data from clinical investigations.

“Synthesizing evidence from available literature in public domain needs to be promoted for taking informed decisions. Providing a common platform to all stakeholders in medication safety will lead to healthy discussion and delegates will get insight into the various aspects of the theme,” reads AIIMS Rishikesh's statement.

Pre-conference workshops will provide hands-on experience to delegates about the software used for uploading and analysing information pertaining to drug safety. This will be a step in creating a pool of employable manpower who will already be exposed to the expected demands of work.
