Assam NEET UG 2023 Counselling: Stray Round postponed till further notice

Director of Medical Education Assam has postponed the Assam NEET UG 2023 Counselling Stray Round till further notice.

"In view of ongoing court case in the Hon'ble Gauhati High Court, Guwahati this is for information of all concerned that the stray round counselling for admission into vacant post graduate seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Assam under State Health Service Quota for session 2023, which was scheduled to be held on October 12, 2023, at the office of DME, Assam, Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 is hereby postponed. The new dates for the Stray Round Counselling for SHQ candidates shall be notified in due course of time," reads the official notification.

Assam NEET UG 2023 Counselling is for admission to 85 per cent of state seats.

“It is to be noted that candidates who joined up to round 3 of AIQ or state quota shall not be eligible to participate in further rounds of All India Quota or for state quota,” DME Assam said in an official notification.

DME Assam revises NEET PG 2023 stray round online counselling schedule

As per the revised counselling schedule, online registration for the stray vacancy round will be held on October 15, 2023, up to 11:55 pm, online filling and choices and locking of choice are scheduled for October 16, and seat allotment processes to be held between October 17 to October 18, 2023. The seat allotment result for Assam NEET PG 2023 counselling stray vacancy round will be out by October 18, 2023. The reporting and joining of allotted colleges are scheduled between October 19 to October 20, 2023.
