Assam's Bumper Job openings in Grade III, IV positions; Govt to announce 10,000 more vacancies

Following the directions of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the state has notified as many as 12,600 vacancies for Grade III and IV positions. In its spree to create a total of 1 lakh jobs, the government has announced to notify another 10,000 vacancies soon.
"As per my previous announcement, the Government of Assam has today advertised 12,600 vacancies for Grade III and IV positions. Additionally, we have also advertised over 5,000 vacancies in the police department this month. The Health department has already advertised around 3,000 vacancies, and we are planning to advertise over 10,000 vacancies in the Education department soon. Our continuous efforts aim to create a brighter future for the youth of our state," tweeted Assam Chief Minister.
As per the official notification, the maximum eligibility qualification for all Class-IV posts shall be HSSLC (Class - 12) or equivalent examination passed and those who have an educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the posts or category of posts.
The present number of openings is tentative and details of vacancies including Pay band and Grade Pay will be published at least one week ahead of conduct of examination along with information on open and reserved positions, strictly as per prevailing Government Laws.
There will be two parts of the selection process - Written Test and Interview. The applications can be sent online between November 10, 2023, and December 29, 2023. Interested candidates may apply on the sites - www.assam.gov.in or www.sebaonline.org. There is no application fee for all categories of candidates.
