AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for UG, PG, PhD courses 2022-23: Apply @a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in
The last date to apply for AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy and BSc in Yoga for the academic year 2022-23 is July 15.
The international students interested in pursuing AYUSH-related courses must know that they can apply for AYUSH Scholarship Scheme for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy and BSc in Yoga for the academic year 2022-23 at a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in, latest by July 15, 2022. The official notification says that the candidates may be instructed to visit the website of the concerned institute/university for details.

Eligibility criteria for AYUSH Scholarship Scheme 2022-23
Following are the eligibility criteria based on different courses:
For BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery), and BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) courses of five and half years including clinical training (internship, the eligibility requirement is Class 12 with main subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For three years of courses BSc in Yoga and BA (Yoga Shastra), the eligibility requirement is a Class 12 pass.
For three-year postgraduate courses, the following degrees are required which should be recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM):
- MD Ayurveda - BAMS
- MD Siddha - BSMS
- MD Unani - BUMS
- MD Homeopathy - BHMS is recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH)
For three years PhD courses in Ayurveda and Unani, the requirement is an MD Ayurveda degree and MD Unani degree respectively.
About ICCR Scholarships
Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is an autonomous organization under the government of India for establishing, reviving and strengthening cultural relations and mutual understanding between India and other countries.
ICCR scholarship for international students is provided to pursue courses in Indian dance, music, yoga, Ayurveda and Indian languages. The scholarship is also provided for professional fields like engineering, agriculture, management etc.
