BFUHS asks bonafide affidavit for admission to MBBS/BDS

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has made it compulsory that all aspirants of MBBS and BDS must submit the bonafide affidavits.

Recently, there had been controversies over the issues of bonafide residents of Punjab who are seeking admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses. Now, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has made it compulsory that all the medical aspirants who want to pursue MBBS and BDS courses must submit affidavits stating that they have not claimed the benefits of being domicile in any other state or Union Territory (UT) for admission to these courses other than Punjab.

Every candidate and his/her parents must submit these affidavits to the university and if the information on the affidavit will found to be false at any stage, the student's admission to these courses will be cancelled immediately on basis of false documentation. 

The online registration for MBBS and BDS courses in the university are already going on and the last date for filling the application form is November 28. Students can find prospectus, schedule, fee, details and updates at the official website of the university - www.bfuhs.ac.in. The admission will be conducted based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 and combined counselling including under private and minority institutions in Punjab will be conducted by the BFUHS university.

The admission notice further adds, "Any update issued by MCC/Govt. of India/ Govt. of Punjab regarding UG admissions session 2021 shall be applicable."
