FMGE December 2023 exam date has been released by NBE. The medical licensing exam is likely to be conducted on January 20, 2024.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced the tentative dates of the FMGE 2023 December session exam. As per the schedule, the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) medical licensing entrance exam is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2024 for the December session. NBE has also released the dates for the June session examination which is scheduled to be held on June 30, 2024. The FMGE 2023 application process is yet to begin. Candidates can expect the registration to begin from the last week of November 2023.

FMGE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

Qualification: The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned

Documents: Candidates have to submit proof of primary medical qualification. If someone fails to submit the required documents within the stipulated time, he will not be considered eligible for the FMGE exam.

Exemptions: Candidates who have completed their undergraduate medical qualification from the below-mentioned countries do not have to appear for FMGE for registration with MCI, provided they are eligible to enroll as medical practitioners in the respective country.
