Foreign Medical Graduates Internship: Stakeholders to meet on April 15

While the Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) of Rajasthan have called for a strike from today, April 12, 2023, for demanding an increase in counselling seats so that the FMGs can get internship opportunities in India, all stakeholders are going to meet on April 15, 2023, at Delhi Medical Association House Daryganj. The doctors are demanding a fair opportunity to do an internship instead of waiting for the internship opportunities.

Rajasthan's Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) have started a strike today to demand an increase in counselling seats so that all FMGs can get a chance to do internships. The doctors are going to meet all stakeholders on April 15, 2023, in Delhi.

Dr Ashwini Dalmiya, President-Elect, Delhi Medical Association. Executive Member, Delhi Medical Council. Secretary, MAMCOS, tweeted, "Meeting with all stakeholders on the issue of internship of FMG ( Foreign Medical Graduates ) will be held at Delhi Medical Association House Daryganj New Delhi at 3 pm on 15.04.23."
