In a shocking incident being reported from the Government Institute of Medical Sciences​ (GIMS) Noida, reportedly MBBS students were beaten by the guards, read here for more details.

As per the latest reports, MBBS students of the Government Institute of Medical Sciences​ (GIMS) Noida are beaten up by the institute's guards.

FORDA India tweet reads, "What is happening at GIMS Noida! MBBS students mercilessly beaten inside hostel premises, cars vandalised, room doors broken. Students have sustained fatal injuries. Security guards and students of GBU (Gautam Buddha University) are alleged perpetrators."

"#Dark day for medical fraternity when #MBBS students residing in the college hostel at #GIMS GREATER NOIDA were brutally beaten up by the security guards acting under the direct orders of the GBU security officer (SO)! We demand strict action against culprits," tweeted FAIMA.

GIMS Noida: More tweets on clash between students and guards

“Doctors are safe neither inside hospitals nor inside their hostels. Brutality reached its peaks in the hostels of GIMS medical college in greater Noida where students were Beaten with Rods , Thrashed ,their property was destroyed publicly by security guards and local people,” says one tweet.

“@DhaorAshni Regarding the violence at GIMS Greater Noida, lot of fake news is spreading like fire and no one is trying to figure out how this all started. Security officials opposed a GIMS student for smoking cigarette, student abused them,collected a mob to thrash security guard,” said another tweet.

“Brutal attack on medical students!This incident is of GIMS (greater noida)where guards brutally beaten the students and vandalised there all valuable belongings, vehicles and laptops on order of SO (security officer) kindly look !!,” said a tweet.
