Students who have already registered during the round 1 and round 2 counselling need not register again. However, students have to complete the preference filing and choices afresh in order to appear for the round 3 counselling process. Students must note that if a student, who has been allotted a seat in the round 3 counselling, does not join the allotted seat then the security amount shall be forfeited and the student will not be eligible to participate in the stray round counselling process.

NEET MDS counselling 2024 is being conducted online. Candidates participating in the counselling of NEET MDS 2024 had to register on the official website of MCC to attend it. Candidates qualifying for NEET MDS 2024 with the minimum cut off is one of the eligiblity criteria to participate in the counselling rounds. The counselling proess began on July 1, 2024. Registered candidates could exercise choices for college and course for NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment. MCC released seat allotment result based on choice declared, availablity of seats in college and course, reservation factor etc.

Candidates need to report to allotted college/institute for document verification. They have to carry following documents in original:
- NEET MDS result 2024 or scorecard
- NEET MDS Admit Card 2024
- BDS degree certificate
- BDS marksheets
- Internship Completion Certificate (stating that the candidate has completed his/ her internship on or before June 30, 2024)
- Registration Certificate from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC)
- Birth Certificate or class 10 marksheet
- Photo Id proof (PAN card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID/ Aadhaar card/ Passport)
- Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC, if applicable)
- Disability Certificate issued by the medical board (if applicable)

There is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can fill during the counselling of NEET MDS. These choices, however, should be in the order of preference as desired by the candidate. It must be noted choices have to be locked in the given deadline other it gets automatically locked. Candidates are advised to fill choices carefully as it can't be modified once the timeframe ends.
