National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the procedure to fill the NEET (UG) 2021 OMR answer sheet.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a notification regarding National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET UG examination to be held on September 12. It has uploaded a sample Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet and also provided the instructions on how to fill the OMR answer sheet. The candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and follow the same while filling the answer sheet.

The student must know that they should not tamper or scratch the OMR sheet and only provide the required information as the OMR sheets are evaluated by software, which is sensitive and can read only properly filled black coloured bubbles.

Instructions to fill OMR answer sheets

Specific boxes are given in the sheet for information like for test booklet code, test booklet number, and roll number. Only fill in the required information and nothing else otherwise the OMR sheet can get rejected. 

  • Fill in the 10 digit roll number from admit card and also the 7 digit test booklet number. 
  • Write candidate's name and father's and mother's name in running handwriting in the name column.
  • Do not fill in more than one answer for any question.
  • Candidates need to sign with time in the declaration column.
  • The CODE printed on the OMR answer sheet should be the same as that on the test booklet.
  • For any discrepancy for a particular language, only the English version will be accepted as the final version.

NEET 2021 Test Paper Details

The national level medical entrance exam, NEET is of three hours duration and contains 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). For each question, four options will be given, choose the right one. In each subject, 50 questions will be divided into two sections A and B. Section A will have thirty-five questions in each subject, and all are compulsory questions. Section B will have 15 questions, and candidates need to attempt any 10 questions out of 15 in each subject.
