Indian medical colleges to fill online details of PG Medical Admission in AY 2023-24 by today

The timeframe given to the medical colleges and institutes of India to fill the online information about the PG students who took admission in the academic year 2023 to 24 was from December 4 to December 7, 2023. Read here for more details.

National Medical Commission recently released a public notice regarding the online filling of information relating to admission made in Medical College/Postgraduate Institute for postgraduate medical courses for the academic year 2023-24-reg.

"After completion of the special stray round conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), DGHS and State Counselling Agencies for filling up the vacant seats of PG Broad Specialty courses, new candidates have been admitted in various medical colleges throughout India," reads the NMC Statement.

Subsequently, all Medical Colleges/Institutes in India are hereby informed that the online portal for filling up the details of candidates who took admission in PG Broad Specialty courses shall be reopened from 4th to 7th December, 2023, added NMC notification.

NMC's notice for UG Admission

All the stakeholders were informed about the extension of the last date of admission of Under Graduate Course and to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for vacant MBBS seats of AIQ and State Quota and the colleges/DMEs were directed to ensure that the admission of MBBS students have been made according to the NMC regulation and upload their names in the NMC portal, said the official statement.

It is hereby informed that students registered in NMC portal only shall be considered as valid admissions to be eligible for future registration to practice allopathy in India if they fulfill all criteria as required from time to time, added the Commission.
