INI CET 2025 Counselling: Round 1 Choice Filling Deadline Extended; Fill Preferences by Dec 18

INI CET 2025 round 1 choice filling and locking last date has been extended till 5 PM on December 18, 2024. Students who have already exercised choices can edit them by December 18 in online mode at aiimsexams.ac.in. 

INI CET 2025 Counselling

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has extended INI CET 2025 choice filling and locking last date till December 18, 2024. Students who have participated in AIIMS INI CET counselling 2025 for round 1 admissions can now fill their choices in online mode at aiimsexams.ac.in till 5 PM on December 18, 2024. Besides, those students who have already exercised their choices can also edit them before the aforementioned deadline. 

The AIIMS INI CET 2025 choice filling and locking for round 1 admission has been extended in reference to the judgement of Delhi High Court in W.P. (C) No. 15514/2023, Ravi Kumar v. AIIMS. Studenrs are suggsted to not wait for INI CET choice filling and locking last date 2025 and fill their preferences at the earliest as the authorities will not grant another opportunity for choice filling.

AIIMS is conducting the counselling process for admission to MD/ MS/ DM (6yrs.)/ MCH(6yrs.)/ MDS programmes at AIIMS based on Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test scores. Hence, only students have valid INI CET exam scores are eligible for counselling process. 

INI CET 2025 Choice Filling and Locking Process

Students have to complete the below steps for AIIMS INI CET choice filling 2025: 

  • Visit the official website - aiimsexams.ac.in
  • Search for AIIMS INI CET link and login using the allotted credentials 
  • Once login, click on the 'Make choice' link displayed on the homepage to complete the choice-filling process.
  • Select your preferred subject and institute in order of preference.
  • Click on the 'Save' button after completing the preference filling.

INI CET Counselling 2025: Round 1 Seat Allotment on Dec 19 

AIIMS will announce the INI CET 2025 round 1 seat allotment on December 19, 2024. Students will be able to check their allocation status through INI CET 2025 seat allotment result pdf.

Q: Β  When will counselling start for INI CET 2025 January session?

A:

INI CET 2025 counselling dates and schedule were announced by AIIMS.  Mock round counselling began with registration cum choice filling on December 5, 2024. Seat allotment for mock round was announced on December 10, 2024. Seat allotment result for round-1 counselling will be declared on December 19, 2024. The counselling is held online for seat allotment. Only INI CET qualified candidates can participate in the counselling for seat allotment. A total of 4 rounds of counselling will be held including mock round.

Q: Β  Who are eligible for the counselling of INI CET?

A:

Those who will qualify INI CET 2025 January session can participate in the counselling round. Candidates have to qualify the exam with the minimum cut off to become eligible for INI CET counselling. The minimum qualifying cut percentile for general and SC/ST categories are 50 and 45 respectively. INI CET 2025 counselling comprises a series of process starts with registration. Candidates will have to register on the official website, aiimsexams. AC. In for AIIMS INI CET 2025 counselling. Registration is followed by declaration of preferences where candidates provide their choice for college and course. AIIMS allots seats based on choice declared, INI CET score, reservation factor, available seats in particular course or college etc.

Q: Β  If I have been allotted a seat in round one of INI CET counselling, can I participate in round two for upgradation?

A:

Yes, you can participate in INI CET 2025 round two counselling for upgradation but there is a condition for that. For upgradation, you have to choose option 2 where you provide willingness to participate in second round. After seat allotment in round-1, candidates have to login and actively choose out of two options. Option 1 says that you accept the seat and don't want to participate in further rounds while option 2 says you accept the seat but you want to participate in second round of seat allocation.
