The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has invited applications for admissions to the MSc Nursing courses in 2022, the last date to apply is August 26, 2022.

Applications are invited from the eligible and interested candidates belonging to UTs of J&K/Ladakh for admission to MSc Nursing Courses 2022 through offline mode, says the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) notification.

The interested candidates need to submit the application form physically at the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar (on working days only) along with the following self-attested certificates w.e.f. August 9 to August 26, 2022 (04.00 P.M):

  • Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (if not issued, at the time of submission of registration cum application form, the candidate can submit an undertaking certifying that he /she shall submit /produce the same at the time of counselling/admission). For candidates of UT of Ladakh, the ST certificate issued by the competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as a domicile certificate.
  • Marks sheet of BSc Nursing /BSc Hons Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing Courses, whichever is applicable. 
  • Date of Birth (Class 10 mark sheet/Diploma issued by the Board)
  • Experience/work Certificate.
  • Registration Certificate.
  • Valid Reserved Category Certificate, if any 

The fee of INR 1500 is to be paid through a POS machine available at the BOPEE office in Jammu/Srinagar through a debit/credit card. 

Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria to apply for MSc Nursing courses 2022 in J&K: 

  • The candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K /Ladakh
  • BSc Nursing/BSc Hons Nursing/Post Basic BSc Nursing pass with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks
  • Should be a registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state/UT nursing registration council
  • A minimum of one year of work experience is required before or after Basic BSc Nursing.
