The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has started the Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2024 choice filling and locking process for round 1 today i.e. August 21, 2024. Students who are willing to fill their choices for admission in 85% of state quota MBBS, and BDS seats across Jharkhand can apply online from the official website jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Besides, the Jharkhand NEET registration link 2024 is simultaneously ongoing till August 26, 2024. However, students are suggested not to wait for the Jharkhand NEET UG choice filling last date 2024 and apply at the earliest to avoid last-minute discrepancies.

Jharkhand NEET UG Round 1 Provisional Seat Matrix Announced
JCECEB has released the Jharkhand NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1 provisional seat matrix based on NEET UG result 2024 is now available. A total of 909 seats are available for MBBS, and BDS admission at several institutes. Students can check the Jharkhand NEET UG provisional seat matrix pdf to check the category-wise seats available for admission.
Students can check the seat matrix and make the choice of college as per their preference. Students further will be able to make edits in Jharkhand NEET UG preference selection on August 27, 2024. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The central counselling for NEET is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee or MCC. On the other hand, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for MBBS BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses. On the other hand, the State Counselling Authorities conduct the admission process for MBBS BDS BAMS, BHMS, and other medical or allied courses.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 from December 23 to December 30, 2024. The provisional and final results were declared on December 24 and December 25. The institute reporting process is being conducted from December 25 to December 30, 2024. There were three MBBS seats for allotment in this round.
The NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 2 was conducted from December 9 to December 16, 2024. While the payment and choice filling could be done from December 9 to December 10, the seat allotment result was declared on December 12, 2024. The institute reporting process is being conducted from December 12 to December 16, 2024.
The NEET 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round 1 counselling was conducted from November 20 to November 30, 2024. The payment process was conducted from November 20 to November 21, 2024. The choice filling and locking rounds were held from November 20 to November 22, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was declared on November 22, 2024, and the final result was declared on November 23, 2024, followed by the institute reporting process from November 25 to November 30, 2024.
MCC conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The registration and choice filling process started on October 22 and October 23 respectively. The last dates of registration and choice filling and locking were extended till October 27 from October 25 and October 26 respectively. The provisional and final result was released on October 29 and October 30, 2024, respectively.
The Round 3 was conducted from October 3 to October 19, 2024.
The NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 concluded on September 27, 2024. The round started on September 13, 2024.
