JIPMER PG 2020 Counselling: Dates for the first round announced, registrations begin today

JIPMER has announced the dates for the first round of counselling. Online registration window, active till July 25, is a one-time opportunity for candidates to participate in the JIPMER PG counselling process.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is now accepting applications for the first round of JIPMER PG 2020 counselling. The institute is conducting the admission process online this year. All candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of JIPMER PG 2020 have to register online before July 25.Candidates will not get another opportunity to register for the counselling process. Only those who candidates who register for the first round of JIPMER PG counselling 2020 will be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.

All the candidates who have scored 50^th percentile and above in JIPMER PG 2020 can apply for the counselling process. The qualifying criteria for general PwD candidates is 45^th percentile, 40^th percentile reserved category candidates.

JIPMER PG 2020 Counselling: Important Instructions

• To register online, candidates will have to use the credentials generated at the time of registration
• They have to upload scanned copies of the following:
  • MBBS degree certificate
  • MCI/SMC Registration Certificate
  • Internship Completion Certificate
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Candidates have to fill the choices online up to July 25
• Result for the mock round of counselling will be announced on July 29, following which candidates can modify the choices submitted by them (if they desire)
• Candidates must note that they will not get the option to ‘Refuse’ a seat if allotted. Thus, they are advised to fill the choices after careful evaluation
• Result for the first round of JIPMER PG counselling 2020 will be announced on August 4
