JIPMER to hire Research Nurse

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is hiring Research Nurse for Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. The title of the study is “Shared Decision Making with the help of a Decision Aid and its impact on Caesarean section rates in women undergoing Trial of Labour after Caesarean section: A Mixed Methods Study”
The upper age limit is 30 Years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be extended as per Govt. of India rules. The salary would be INR 18,000/per month (consolidated pay). The duration of the project is 20 months. The initial appointment will be for a period of 12 months and an extension will be given as per the performance of the candidate and the availability of funds.
"Interested candidates need to send the scanned filled application form (attached on JIMPER website) by e-mail only with subject line mentioned ‘Application for the post of Research Nurse (SDM study)’ to recruitment.rnsdm@gmail.com by November 1, 2022, 4 pm. Applications sent after the last date will not be entertained," said the official notification.
Essential Qualifications
The candidate must have a BSc Nursing degree and desirable qualifications are research experience in Maternal and Child Health, proficiency in both English and Tamil language, excellent management, supervision, and coordination skills, and computer knowledge pertaining to data handling.
"These positions will be purely on a temporary basis for the specified period and based on the availability of the project funds and may be terminated earlier than expected. The appointment can be terminated at any time with one month’s notice without assigning any reason or if the person's work is considered unsatisfactory by the competent authority," said the official statement.
