Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka NEET UG counselling schedule 2024 for special stray vacancy round admission on the official website. Students willing to get admission in MBBS, BDS seats in medical or dental colleges across Karnataka state can check the Kar NEET UG special stray vacancy round 2024 counselling dates to ensure they do not miss any important detail of the admission process. 

The authorities have announced the Karnataka NEET UG counselling dates 2024 at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Students can check the option entry date, seat allotment date and other details to know the events for special stray vacancy round counselling process. As per the schedule, the Karnakata NEET UG option entry 2024 for special stray vacancy round admission will be conducted between November 20 to 24, 2024. Students will have to enter their preference college/ course during the Karnataka NEET UG 2024 choice filling process.

The authorities have notified that the candidates who have not been allotted any medical seat in KEA in any of the rounds or after allotment of medical seat surrendered the medical seat by forfeiting the caution deposit are only eligible to participate in Karnataka NEET UG special stray vacancy round counselling for the medical or dental seat. Students who have been allotted a dental seat through KEA in any round can participate in a medical seat but not in the dental seat again.

Q:   When will the counselling for Karnataka NEET UG begin?

A:

The registration window for the round-1 Karnataka NEET UG counselling was open on July 16, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result will be released thereafter as per the schedule. KEA will issue a counselling dates and prospectus informing the Karnataka NEET UG process for the academic year 2024-25 soon.

Q:   Do I have to register separately for Karnataka NEET counselling and MCC counselling?

A:

Yes. Candidates who wish to participate in Karnataka NEET counselling 2024 will have to register on the website of KEA. Those who wish to participate in the AIQ NEET counselling will have to register on the official website of MCC. Online information provided by candidates in the application form for Karnataka NEET counselling 2024 will be treated as correct and requests for any change will not be entertained by KEA.

Q:   What is the basic eligibility criteria to participate in the KEA NEET UG counselling?

A:

The applicant must be a citizen of India and must have qualified NEET 2024. The candidate must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from an institute located in Karnataka. Also, he/she must have studied for a period of seven years from a government school located in Karnataka, or must have studied for a period of seven years from an institute located in Karnataka. His/her either of the parents should be domiciled in Karnataka and his/her parent’s mother tongue should be Kannada/Tulu/Kodava.
