Karnataka NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2024: Option Entry Deadline Extended; Know Steps to Modify Preferences
Karnataka NEET UG Round 2 option entry deadline has been extended till further notice for students seeking admission in 85% of state quota MBBS/ BDS seats in Karnataka State Medical and dental colleges.
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the Karnataka NEET UG round 2 option entry last date 2024 till further notice. The authorities have notified that the rearrangement of options i.e. modify, delete or reorder facility has been extended and the portal link is open in the KEA website till further notice.
“Rearrangement of options - (Modify/ Delete/ Re-order) portal link is open on the KEA website till further instructions. Candidates are informed to keep visiting the KEA website for the latest updates." The official notification reads.
How to Edit Preferences in Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
Step 2: Log in using the registration number and password.
Step 3: The selected options under choice filling will be available on the screen.
Step 4: Make the necessary changes based on preferences.

Q: What is the current scenario of NEET UG Counselling 2024?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 3 from December 23 to December 30, 2024.
The NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 2 was conducted from December 9 to December 16, 2024. While the payment and choice filling could be done from December 9 to December 10, the seat allotment result was declared on December 12, 2024. The institute reporting process is being conducted from December 12 to December 16, 2024.
The NEET 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round 1 counselling was conducted from November 20 to November 30, 2024. The payment process was conducted from November 20 to November 21, 2024. The choice filling and locking rounds were held from November 20 to November 22, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was declared on November 22, 2024, and the final result was declared on November 23, 2024, followed by the institute reporting process from November 25 to November 30, 2024.
MCC conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The registration and choice filling process started on October 22 and October 23 respectively. The last dates of registration and choice filling and locking were extended till October 27 from October 25 and October 26 respectively. The provisional and final result was released on October 29 and October 30, 2024, respectively.
The Round 3 was conducted from October 3 to October 19, 2024.
The NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 concluded on September 27, 2024. The round started on September 13, 2024.
The Round 1 of NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024.
