Kerala NEET UG 2024 option registration facility for special stray vacancy round three allotments for the MBBS programme will conclude at 4 PM today, December 24, 2024, at cee.kerala.gov.in. 

Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024

Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala will conclude the option registration facility for special stray vacancy round three allotments to the MBBS programme today i.e. December 24, 2024. Students who have qualified the NEET UG entrance test in session 2024 can apply online for the vacancies in the MBBS programme through Kerala NEET UG counselling 2024 for special stray vacancy round 3. Only those students who have been named in the Kerala state medical rank list can register for fresh options till 4 PM today. 

How to Apply? 

Eligible and interested students willing to participate in the online special stray vacancy round can register their options from cee.kerala.gov.in. The option registration facility is available on the home page. Interested candidates who register options shall pay an amount of INR 10,000 as a fresh registration fee. However, SC/ ST/ OEC category candidates have to pay INR 5,000 as a registration fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024: Final Seat Allotment Today 

Kerala NEET UG 2024 final seat allotment result for special stray vacancy round 3 will be announced today on the official website. Students who have been allotted a seat as per the seat allotment result have to ensure they complete the admission formalities and make payment of the fees between December 26 to 28, 2024.

Q:   Who conducts the Kerala NEET counselling process?

The Kerala NEET counselling process is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. It is the state-level admission authority for Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical and other streams in the state of Kerala. CEE Kerala conducts the counselling process for medical, pharmaceutical and allied courses. While the registration process for the Kerala NEET 2024 counselling has already started, even before the conduct of the NEET UG exam, The application dates is same for the KEAM exam application dates. However, the other processes of the Kerala NEET counselling, such as release of merit list, choice filling and seat allotment result are done by CEE Kerala after the declaration of the result. 

Q:   What is the schedule for Kerala NEET counselling 2024?

A:

The scheule for the Kerala NEET counselling 2024 Round 3 is dated from October 9 to October 23, 2024. The registration process for Kerala NEET counselling 2024 was conducted in two phases. Originally, the process started on March 27, 2024, and the last date of registration was extended till April 19, from April 17. The second phase of registration opened on June 13 and the last date to submit or modify applications was June 23, 2024, 6 PM. The NEET 2024 scores had to be submitted on the CEE Kerala portal by August 12, 2024, 4 PM. The option registration or choice filling had to be done from August 21 to August 26, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was declared on August 28, 2024.

Q:   What percentage of seats will be allotted to the General category students in Kerala NEET counselling?

A:

Nearly 60 per cent of the total state quota seats will be allotted to open category students in Kerala NEET counselling. While allotting seats, CEE, or the Kerala NEET counselling authority will consider the reservation criteria of the state while allotting seats to candidates who will exercise their choices.
