Madhya Pradesh: Amit Shah inaugurates medical college in Satna
Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi India is moving forward in every field in the last 9 years, the country has made significant progress in every field including defence, internal security, economy, infrastructure, exports and the banking system, said Amit Shah after inaugurating a medical college at Satna, Madhya Pradesh.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah inaugurated a medical college at Satna, Madhya Pradesh, in the presence of many dignitaries including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
"This college equipped with modern facilities would prove a milestone in the field of medical education in Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this medical college in Satna, and later in the third phase, new medical colleges in Rajgarh, Mandla, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Sheopur and Simraguli will be established under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Government of India in the ratio of 60 to 40. After the implementation of the plan, not a single child will need to go outside Madhya Pradesh for medical education. The government is going to spend INR 300 crore for the first phase and INR 250 crore for the second phase, making a total expenditure of INR 550 crore," he said.
After the Corona pandemic, Prime Minister Modi strengthened the entire health infrastructure through the allocation of over INR 60 thousand crores. Apart from this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also opened up wellness centres across the country. The increase in the budget by INR 2 lakh 30 thousand crores compared to INR 94,452 crore in the previous year shows how much priority Modi gives to the health sector, he added further.
