Maharashtra launches NEET counselling website; Know the documents required

Maharashtra has launched the NEET counselling portal, read here the list of documents required for the counselling.

While National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 qualified candidates across the country are eagerly waiting for the Counselling to begin the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell has launched the Centralized Counselling Process (CAP) portal for undergraduate medical admissions through NEET 2021. 

NEET 2021 qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and other courses under the 85% state quota can visit info.mahacet.org/CAP2021/NEET_UG to get more information on the counselling process. These aspirants can also check last year's cut off ranks on this website.

For getting information on All India Quota (AIQ) NEET Counselling, the aspirants can visit the official website of MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) mcc.nic.in.

The responsible authority for Maharashtra NEET counselling is State Common Entrance Test Cell, or CET Cell, Maharashtra. The Maharashtra NEET Counselling schedule, notification and information bulletin is yet to be released. However, the authorities have released a list of documents required for the Maharashtra NEET Counselling process.

Following are the documents the candidates need to upload at the time of registration - NEET marks sheet, NEET 2021 admit card, Nationality certificate, Copy of online application form filled at mahacet.org, HSC (Class 12) marks sheet, Aadhar Card, SSC (Class 10) certificate for age proof, Domicile certificate, and medical fitness certificate. 

They also need to carry original documents during the admission process.

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will have to submit - Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer certificate valid up to 31 March 2022.
