The CET Cell Maharashtra has announced the schedule for the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Stray Vacancy round of AYUSH and Paramedical courses. The choice filling process has begun today and the last date to submit choices is November 3, 2024, 11.59 PM.

The CET Cell Maharashtra has announced the schedule for the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Stray Vacancy round of AYUSH and Paramedical courses. The seat matrix for both course groups have been released. The choice filling process has begun today and the last date to submit choices is November 3, 2024, 11.59 PM.

The total number of seats for BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses is 230, and that of the BPTH, BASLP, B.OTH and B (P&O) courses is 90.

How to Fill Choices for Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling

Below are steps that have to be followed to fill choices for the Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Visit the official website of Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling or directly enter the link https://medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024/
  • Click on Login
  • Enter the registration credentials and click on Submit
  • Click on the Choice Filling tab
  • Enter the choices in preferential order and lock choices

Only those candidates who have not been allotted any seat so far will be eligible to participate in this round. No fresh registration will be conducted in this round.

Q: Β  What is the minimum rank required to get an MBBS seat through Maharashtra NEET counselling?

A:

A General category student must secure an AIR rank of 50,000 or above to get an MBBS seat in a good college. Candidates must note that this is a predictive cutoff rank and not an absolute data. The actual cutoff data or rank will be relesed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) after the conclusion of the counselling process for Maharashtra NEET. 

Q: Β  When will Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling be conducted?

A:

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 counselling dates have been announced for the CAP Online Stray Vacancy Round, which was conducted from October 25 to November 5, 2024. The AYUSH and Paramedical course counselling for the fourth round is being conducted from October 31 to November 25, 2024.

While the second round was conducted from September 25 to October 6, 2024, the third round was conducted from October 9 to October 23, 2024. 

The Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling dates for Round 2 and 3 of AYUSH and Paramedical courses have also been announced, which are scheduled from September 27 to October 29, 2024.

The first round was conducted from August 17 to September 5, 2024. The registration process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses was conducted from August 17 to August 24, 2024. As of now, DTE Maharashtra conducted the Maharashtra NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 for MBBS and BDS courses till September 5, 2024. On the other hand, the counselling procss for  BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BPTH, BASLP and B(P&O) courses is being conducted from September 11 to September 18, 2024. 

Q: Β  Who conducts Maharashtra NEET counselling?

A:

Maharashtra NEET counselling is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The state counselling authority for Maharashtra conducts the admission process for various medical and paramedical courses offered in the state under the 85 per cent State Quota seats. Candidates who qualify for the NEET exam are eligible to participate in this state counselling.
