MCC advises NEET UG Counselling 2021 aspirants to beware of fake agents
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an advisory for NEET UG Counselling 2021 aspirants and asked them to beware of fake agents and allotment letters.
While the NEET UG Counselling 2021 aspirants are waiting for the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) announcement regarding the Counselling schedule, MCC has released an advisory to warn the candidates against the fake allotment letters and agents in the name of MCC.
The aspirants are advised to keep checking the official website mcc.nic.in for getting the latest and authentic updates regarding the counselling. MCC has asked the candidates to perform the admission process formalities on their own instead of hiring agents to complete these processes.
MCC has said in the advisory that it has only one official website and the students must stay away from any other fake websites that might be providing misleading information regarding the NEET UG Counselling 2021. The counselling committee also said that the student must know that MCC never issue allotment letters directly to the candidates. If anyone gets selected, they can download the provisional allotment letters from the official website of MCC.
The students are also asked to immediately report to MCC in case of any fraudulent website or agent they come to know about and also they should lodge FIR (First Information Report) for such cases.
MCC official statement reads, “MCC does not allot seats on nomination basis. It is further reiterated that no letters are issued by MCC of DGHS to successful students. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC have to download Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website and report at allotted colleges for admission. Hence, candidates are advised to beware of any letters issued by scrupulous persons on behalf of MCC regarding allotment of seats. Candidates should be cautious of Fake Agents and are advised to perform all activities related to Registration on the website by themselves instead of hiring agents for the same.”
