NEET 2021 Counselling Dates Extended

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 institute reporting dates till February 9. The NEET 2021 counselling dates for the subsequent rounds, i.e. from Round 2 to the Stray-Vacancy round dates have also been extended by a week. Originally, the institute reporting for Round 1 was scheduled from January 30 to February 4, which was postponed twice, from February 2 to February 7 and further from February 3 to February 9. Owing to this extension of dates, the schedule for the subsequent rounds have also been extended further.

NEET 2021 Counselling – Stray Vacancy Round

MCC had commenced the NEET 2021 counselling process on January 19 with the registration process for Round 1. However, due to a court hearing, the registration process was reopened which delayed the release of the seat allotment result. Further, even after the release of the Round 1 result, it was revoked due to an error in the seat matrix. The institute reporting process was also postponed for a day. MCC is conducting the NEET counselling process for the 15 per cent All India Quota seats for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes.
