MCC Issues Notice Regarding Refund of Security Deposit for SS Counselling 2023

MCC initiated the refund as per the SS Information Bulletin for the Security deposit refund policy on March 29, 2024. The refund will be credited between 1 to 15 days to the same account from where the security amount was deposited in favour of MCC.

 

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), through a recent notification, informed students who participated in SS Counselling 2023. The notification informed about the security deposit refund to the concerned candidates. 

The notice states "All the candidates participated in SS Counselling 2023 that as per the eligibility conditions mentioned in the SS Information Bulletin for Security deposit refund, the refund of security deposit has been done on March 29, 2024." 

The authorities have notified that the refund has been initiated to the same bank account from which the security amount was deposited to MCC. The refund shall be credited between 1 to 15 days depending on the automation level of the concerned bank. 

"In case of any refund-related queries students can visit and contact financemcc@lifecarehll.com. MCC shall not entertain any direct query for refund/ payment related grievance." The notification further added. 

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an organisation which is responsible for UG, PG and SS seat allotment in government-run/ aided colleges in India. The committee works under the guidelines of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and is affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. 

The NEET SS 2023 was held to fill D.M, M.Ch and DNB AIQ vacant seats after SS Counselling 2023 for round 2. This process was conducted to avoid wastage of previous medical seats at the institutes.
