MP NEET PG counselling 2024 round 1 seat allotment result declaration has been deferred till November 28, 2024, owing to non-adoption of the normalisation method while creating the state merit list for the MD/ MS course admission process.

MP NEET PG Counselling 2024

MP NEET PG 2024 Counselling: The Madhya Pradesh High Court's Jabalpur Bench has directed to hold the MP NEET PG counselling 2024 seat allotment result until November 28, 2024. The seat allotment result, which was scheduled to be announced on November 27, 2024, has been stayed as per the order by MP HC.

The order was issued in a plea wherein the petitioners claimed discontent over the second time the "normalization process" had not been implemented claiming that its absence had led to an irregularity in creating the state merit list. The petitioner challenged the state merit list of MP NEET PG Counseling 2024 for MD/MS course admission in their case, as reported by Live Law.

The bench, comprising Justice Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari and Justice Anuradha Shukla in its order said, "So far as the second normalization process at the State level is concerned, could not have been carried out by respondent No.2 in view of the judgment of Apex Court in the case of State of Uttar Pradesh and Ors Vs. Atul Kumar Dwivedi and Ors. in Civil Appeal No.228/2022."

MP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Seat Allotment Result Deferred Until Next Hearing

The Supreme Court ruled in this matter that the normalization process could only be implemented to create the select list if all assessment phases specified by the regulations had concluded. Further, the bench directed to continue the round 1 MP NEET PG counselling 2024 but restricted the release of seat allotment results till the next hearing.
