MP NEET UG merit list 2024 and eligible candidates list for round 2 counselling is now available at dme.mponline.gov.in. Students named in the merit list have to complete MP NEET round 2 choice filling and locking on or before September 17, 2024

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Madhya Pradesh has released MP NEET UG round 2 MP NEET UG round 2 merit list 2024 at the official website. Students who have applied for round 2 counselling can check their merit position from the web portal. The MP NEET UG merit list pdf 2024 for round 2 is available at dme.mponline.gov.in. Students can check the merit list including a list of eligible candidates for round 2 counselling. Details such as candidate's name, common rank, MP state rank, NEET UG rank and NEET UG roll number will be available through the round 2 merit list of MP NEET UG counselling 2024.

MP NEET UG Round 2 Choice Filling Till September 17

The DME Madhya Pradesh is conducting counselling for admission in 85% of state quota MBBS and BDS seats in Madhya Pradesh. Students who have been named in the round 2 merit list have to complete the choice-filling process before the deadline. The Madhya Pradesh NEET UG round 2 choice filling and locking 2024 last date is September 17, 2024 (up to 11:59 PM). Students must note that the choice filling is compulsory for all candidates who want to participate in second round including admitted candidates for the first round for upgradation. 

Q:   What is the current scenario of NEET UG Counselling 2024?

A:

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Special Stray Vacancy Round 2 from December 9 to December 16, 2024. While the payment and choice filling could be done from December 9 to December 10, the seat allotment result was declared on December 12, 2024. The institute reporting process is being conducted from December 12 to December 16, 2024.

The NEET 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round 1 counselling was conducted from November 20 to November 30, 2024. The payment process was conducted from November 20 to November 21, 2024. The choice filling and locking rounds were held from November 20 to November 22, 2024. The provisional seat allotment result was declared on November 22, 2024, and the final result was declared on November 23, 2024, followed by the institute reporting process from November 25 to November 30, 2024.

MCC conducted the NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The registration and choice filling process started on October 22 and October 23 respectively. The last dates of registration and choice filling and locking were extended till October 27 from October 25 and October 26 respectively. The provisional and final result was released on October 29 and October 30, 2024, respectively.

The Round 3 was conducted from October 3 to October 19, 2024. 

The NEET 2024 counselling Round 2 concluded on September 27, 2024. The round started on September 13, 2024.

The Round 1 of NEET 2024 counselling was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. 

MCC had announced that the NEET 2024 counselling dates on July 29, 2024. As of now, four rounds of counselling has been announced, which will conclue on November 5, 2024. The total number of rounds may vary based on the number of vacant seats. Ahead of the commencement of the NEET 2024 counselling process, 

Q:   When did NEET 2024 counselling process begin?

A:

NEET 2024 counselling dates were announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on July 29, 2024. NEET 2024 counselling Round 4 is being conducted from October 22 to November 5, 2024. The Round 3 was conducted from October 2 to October 19, 2024. The Round 2 registration process began on September 5, 2024 and reopened from September 13 to September 16, 2024. The Round 1 was conducted from August 14 to August 31, 2024. MCC revised the dates on September 13, 2024, with the reopening of the registration process of Round 2 due to the change in seat matrix. As per the revised dates, the last date of the counselling is November 5, 2024. The number of rounds may get extended depending on the number of vacant seats. The state medical authorities will conduct the counselling process for the 85 per cent state quota seats. The dates for counselling were different for the national level and state level admission processes. There will be four to six rounds of NEET counselling, which is the gateway for admission to medical and allied courses such as MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BSc Nursing.  

Q:   Is it necessary to join allotted Medical/Dental College of Round 1 to get chance to participate in Round 2 of NEET counselling?

A:
No, candidates need not report or join the allotted college of NEET counselling Round 1 since there is free exit. However if they want to retain the Round 1 seat and upgrade in Round 2 they have to physically join the college of Round 1 and give up-gradation willingness for Round 2 at the time of admission. In case candidates decide to resign the seat allotted to them in the first round, then they can do so prior to registering in the next round of NEET counselling.
