NBEMS issues eligibility, tentative schedule for DNB/DrNB exams 2023

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released eligibility and tentative schedule for the conduct of DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examinations in the year 2023.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released a notice regarding the eligibility and tentative schedule for the conduct of DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examinations in the year 2023.

"The joining of DNB post MBBS Broad Specialty and DrNB Superspecialty trainees for 2020 admission session was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic," said the notification.

As per the tentative timelines released for the conduct of DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examinations in the year 2023, the DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination June 2023 will be in March/April 2023, and the scheduled batches to appear is DNB Broad Specialty (Post MBBS) Trainees of 2020 admission session and DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination December 2023 is scheduled for September/October 2023 and the scheduled batches to appear is DrNB Superspecialty Trainees of 2020 admission session.

The NBEMS notification said, "DNB Board Specialty (Post MBBS) trainees of the 2020 admission session SHALL NOT be eligible to appear in DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination scheduled to be held on December 21,22,23, and 24, 2022."

"The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/ NBEMS website as and when the information bulletins and application forms for respective examinations are announced," added the official notification.

Application forms for DNB/DrNB Final Examinations – December 2022 can be submitted only online at https://natboard.edu.in from October 29, 2022 (3 pm onwards) to November 18, 2022 (till 11:55 pm).
