NBEMS releases tentative schedule of forthcoming exams; FMGE exam on July 30

NBEMS has released the tentative dates for the following exams - Formative Assessment Test (FAT) 2022 on June 18, 2023, Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2023 on July 30, and NEET SS 2023 will be held between September 9 to September 10, 2023. Read here for more details.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences New Delhi has released the tentative dates of the forthcoming examinations.

"NBEMS shall be conducting the following examinations as per the schedule mentioned below, until any further updates. This schedule supersedes previously notified schedule for these examinations, if any," reads NBEMS notification.

As per the schedule released, Formative Assessment Test (FAT) 2022 will be held on June 18, 2023, Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2023 on July 30, 2023. FMGE exam is mandatory for Foreign Medical Graduates to qualify if they want to practice medicine in India.

DNB/DrNB Final Practical Examination is scheduled between June to August 2023, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS 2023) exam will be held between September 9 to September 10, 2023. The DNB/DrNB Final Theory Examination October 2023 is scheduled on October 12, 13, 14, and 15, 2023.

"The candidates are advised to check the exact dates of examinations from the Information Bulletins/ NBEMS website as the above dates are purely tentative and subject to approvals & confirmations. Please refer to the NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in and https://nbe.edu.in for Information Bulletins, Application Forms and other details of these examinations as and when notified," added the notification.
