The NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 seat allotment result has been revoked by MCC soon after releasing it on February 2. The revised result will be declared today itself and the institute reporting process has been postponed from February 2 to February 3. Know the details here.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revoked the final result of the Round 1 seat allotment released on February 2. The result has been withdrawn due to an error in the seat matrix of BDS seats of IMS, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The revised final result will be released today along with a fresh seat allotment letter. The reporting for Round 1 of the NEET 2021 counselling process will begin on February 3, 10 am onwards. Originally, the reporting process was scheduled to begin on February 2, 2.30 pm onwards.

MCC has stated, “Due to some matrix error in the number of BDS (Dental) seats of IMS, BHU final result of UG Round-1 Counselling 2021 which was uploaded at around 03:00 PM (02.02.2022) is being pulled down & a revised final result will be uploaded today on the official website of MCC, DGHS.”

The official notice further states, “Candidates are advised to wait for the revised final result of Round-1 UG 2021 Counselling before proceeding for reporting after downloading a fresh provisional allotment letter. The Reporting for Round-1 of UG Counselling 2021 will begin from 10:00 AM of 03.02.2022.”

The provisional result of Round 1 seat allotment was released on February 1 as per the new schedule. The Round 1 registration process was reopened from January 28 to January 30. The seat allotment result for Round 1 was originally released on January 27 but was revoked due to the Madras High Court hearing. This is the second time that the NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 result has been revoked. The Round 2 of NEET UG counselling will commence on February 9 with the registration process. As many as 20,064 candidates were allotted seats in Round 1.
