NEET 2021 Syllabus: Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced that the NEET 2021 will be conducted as per the revised CBSE Board Exams syllabus. This has given relief to many students who have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the NEET 2021 syllabus. The Education Minister was interacting with Kendriya Vidyalaya students during a live webinar where he answered various questions asked by the students. Among the many questions asked to the Minister, one was about the questions to be asked in upcoming board exams on the basis of the revised syllabus.

To this question, the Minister said that the students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE Board exams and other competitive exams (Joint Entrance Exam, JEE Main 2021, and National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, NEET) based upon the CBSE board syllabus. No questions would be asked from the reduced portion of the syllabus. With the clarity on NEET Syllabus 2021, students will be able to prepare for the same with a free mind. It must be noted that the, NEET 2021 date has not be announced yet, however it is expected to be held on May 2 (tentatively).

He also announced during the live interaction session, that the Kendriya Vidyalayas will be reopened in a phased manner soon. The offline classes will be resumed in the schools along with the online classes across the country.

During the interaction, one of the students also raised concerns regarding traveling to NEET 2021 exam centers, Board Exams 2021 exam centres amid the pandemic, the Education Minister replied that students should reduce their fears about travelling to exam centres amid COVID. NEET, JEE exams in 2020 was conducted amid the pandemic and all the competitive exams were conducted successfully across the country by the government.

He also lauded the teachers and the students to face the COVID-19 crisis with grit and determination and converted "challenges into opportunities". He explained the importance of the โ€˜Manodarpanโ€™ platform to students to release their stress and boost up their mental health that was affected due to sitting at home for a long time. 

While discussions regarding the reduction of JEE Main syllabus were also ongoing, Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal โ€˜Nishankโ€™ had earlier clarified that except JEE Main exam pattern and dates, nothing else will be revised.
