NEET 2022 Aspirants Demand Postpone

While NTA is slated to close the application process tomorrow, aspirants across the country are demanding NEET 2022 postponement. Around 10,000 NEET aspirants have submitted a petition to the exam conducting body, requesting the exam to be postponed by at least a month. They have also launched a mega campaign on various social media platforms.

However, NTA has maintained silence on this issue and has not indicated any change in the NEET 2022 exam date yet. Incidentally, NEET PG 2022 aspirants had also demanded the exam’s postponement and had moved to the Supreme Court of India with their plea, but the apex court had rejected the plea citing that postponing the exam will create confusion and chaos among students and hence, the exam will be conducted on May 21 as per the schedule.

NEET 2022 application process had started on April 6. The exam will be conducted on July 17 from 2 pm to 5.20 pm in 557 cities across India and abroad. Over 15 lakh candidates are expected to apply for the exam.
