NEET 2022 aspirants have taken their demand to postpone the exam to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With multiple posts on social media platforms, #MODIJIdeferNEETUG has been trending.
NEET 20222 postpone demand has intensified further as the aspirants have taken their request to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The hashtag #MODIJIdeferNEETUG has been trending on social media platforms including the microblogging site Twitter with over two lakh posts. Earlier, NEET UG 2022 aspirants had taken their demand to the NTA and the Union Minister for Education Dr Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya. However, NTA has not given any assurance to postpone NEET 2022.
Earlier, more than 10,000 candidates and their parents had written to NTA appealing for deferring the NEET UG 2022 exam for at least a month from July 17, the original exam date. The reasons cited by them include clashing of the exam with JEE Main, CUET and Board exams, and less time for preparation for droppers, among others.

One student stated that the pressure to study for NEET is unbearable. A deferment of at least one month would ease the stress.
Another student has tweeted that students need more time for preparation to crack a highly competitive exam like NEET.
Some of the aspirants have expressed their angst as, despite multiple requests, there has not been any response yet.
Another set of students have presented the argument that the session for 2023 will not start before February, hence NEET 2022 can be easily deferred by a month.
