NEET 2022 Category Change Facility to End Today; Act Fast

NTA will close the NEET 2022 correction window for Category today, i.e. June 16, 9 pm. Those who wish to modify their category must complete the process within the stipulated deadline. Know the details here.

NEET 2022 application correction window for the change or modification in the candidate category is closing today, at 9 pm. Registered candidates who could not enter their correct category owing to the lack of a Category Certificate from the competent authority, or for any other reason, must edit their category within the stipulated date. NTA had announced the opening of the application correction window on June 14 wherein it was stated that this facility is applicable only for the ‘Category’ field and an additional fee, owing to the impact of category change, has to be paid in online mode in order to validate the change.

Candidates who could not obtain the Category Certificate from the Competent Authority will have to download the Self Declaration Form from the NEET 2022 official website, from Annexure I of the notice attached below.

NEET 2022 Category Change Process

Candidates willing to make changes in their category will have to follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of NEET 2022 or directly enter https://examinationservices.nic.in/neet2022/root/Home.aspx?enc=Ei4cajBkK1gZSfgr53ImFcFR+natXIEjJ1rCf6DMgOox7bbAmAPAy8nRVOhBfLwd

• Click on the tab ‘Correction in Category for NEET (UG) 2022’ on top of the page

• Log in through the NEET 2022 application number and password

• Make changes in the category

• Pay the additional fee if it changes owing to the impact of changing the candidate category

The additional fee has to be paid online through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI and Paytm.

The NEET 2022 admit card is expected to be released in the first week of July, two weeks prior to the exam. The application process for NEET was concluded on May 20 and the correction window was open from May 24 to May 27.
