NEET 2022 application form and notification is expected to be announced anytime soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). As per the speculations, the NEET registration process 2022 is likely to begin in the first week of April. Even though the notification of NEET 2022 was expected to be released on March 31, there has not been any official announcement yet. However, with the onset of April, aspirants are eagerly waiting for the official notification and application form.

As per reports, the NEET 2022 exam is expected to be conducted on July 17. The NEET 2022 information brochure will carry pertinent details about the exam pattern, syllabus, dates, and exam cities, among others.

Documents and Information to be Readied Prior to NEET 2022 Application Process

NEET 2022 aspirants must keep the following information handy before proceeding with the NEET 2022 registration and application process.

  • Valid email ID and mobile number

  • Scanned photograph of passport and postcard size of 10 KB to 200 KB resolution

  • Scanned signature in black ink on a white background of 4 KB to 30 KB resolution

  • Left-hand thumb Impression in blue ink on a white background of 10 KB to 200 KB resolution

  • Class 10 Pass Certificate of 50 KB to 300 KB resolution in PDF format

  • Identity Number - Aadhaar Card number/ Passport number/ Ration Card number/ bank account/ any other valid Govt. identity number

  • Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking credentials

Last year, NEET was conducted on September 12 in 200 cities across India and two international cities. As many as 16.14 lakh candidates had registered for NEET 2021 out of which 15.44 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. This year, the number of applications is expected to increase on account of the removal of the upper age limit from the NEET eligibility criteria.

NEET 2022 will be conducted in a paper-pencil based mode (PBT) for a duration of three hours. The exam officials are mulling over the idea to conduct NEET twice a year from this year, but a final decision is awaited. The exam pattern had also undergone structural changes last year, which is expected to be followed this year too.
