NTA will release the NEET 2022 provisional answer keys anytime soon. As per reports, NEET official answer key is expected to be released in the third week of August, likely by August 21. Along with the answer keys, NEET 2022 OMR sheets or the scanned response sheets of candidates will also be released. NTA will also provide the opportunity to raise objections, or submit challenges against the NEET OMR sheets or answer keys. Here we bring the detailed procedure to file objections against NEET 2022 answer keys and OMR sheets along with other key information.

How to Download NEET 2022 Answer Keys and OMR Sheet

The following steps have to be followed to download the NEET 2022 answer keys and OMR sheets:

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2022 – neet.nta.nic.in

  • Click on the link indicating NEET 2022 OMR sheets and NEET 2022 official answer keys

  • Log in with NEET 2022 application number and password and date of birth

  • Download OMR sheet and set-wise NEET 2022 answer key (provisional)

How to Submit Objections Against NEET 2022 Answer Keys and OMR Sheets

Candidates have to check and analyse the NEET 2022 answer keys and their recorded response or NEET 2022 OMR sheets to calculate their estimated score. They may also compare the official answer keys with the NEET answer keys 2022 released by the coaching institute experts on the day of the exam. In case they find a discrepancy, they may submit objections or challenges against NEET 2022 answer keys. The process to do so is given below:

  • Visit the NEET 2022 official website – neet.nta.nic.in

  • Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)’

  • Select the Test Booklet Code

  • Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter SecurityPin as displayed and Submit

  • Check the Questions and Answer Options in Sequential Order

  • The number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the NEET 2022 Answer Key

  • To challenge this option, candidates may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box

  • Supporting documents can be uploaded as a single PDF file by clicking on the ‘Choose File’ option

  • After clicking the desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2022, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen

  • Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’

  • After successful payment, applicants will have to download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt

Based on the past year's trends, it is expected that the NEET 2022 answer key objection filing window will be open for three days.

NEET 2022 Answer Key Objection/Challenge Fees

As per NTA, candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 200 for each NEET 2022 answer key objection. The fee has to be paid in online mode only and no other mode will be accepted. The accepted modes of payment include Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and Paytm.

NEET 2022 was conducted on July 17 in over 500 cities across India and abroad. Over 18 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The final answer keys and NEET 2022 result is expected to be declared in the first week of September.
