NTA released the much-awaited NEET 2022 result on September 7, a total of 99,3069 candidates out of a total of 1764571 candidates appeared in the exam qualified this year, read here to get the details.

NEET 2022 result was declared late at night on September 7, 2022. A total of 1872343 candidates registered this year for the NEET exam and 1764571 candidates appeared in the examination on July 17. The number of qualified candidates is 99,3069 for NEET 2022.

Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu witnessed a high number of test takers. In Maharashtra, 113812 candidates qualified against 244903 candidates appeared in the examination and in TN, 67787 qualified from 132167 total test takers.

Bihar and Andhra Pradesh also saw large numbers of participants in NEET 2022. In Bihar, as many as 98668 students appeared for NEET 2022 and a total of 55709 candidates qualified for the exam. In Andhra Pradesh, 40344 candidates qualified out of a total of 65305 candidates who appeared in the examination.

Tanishka from Rajasthan is the topper in NEET 2022 with a score of 715 and three more candidates got a 715 score and secured 2, 3 and 4th positions in NEET 2022. These candidates are Vatsa Ashish Batra, Hrishikesh Nagbhushan Gangule and Rucha Pawashe with AIR 2,3, and 4 respectively.

National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) for 1872343 candidates at 3570 different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India.

The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). The examination was also conducted for the first time in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore Dubai and Kuwait City.
