NTA has released the provisional answer key and OMR sheets for the NEET 2024 retest held on June 23, 2024. The challenge submission window has opened on June 28, 2024, and the last date is June 29, 2024, 11 PM. Know the detailed procedure and fees here on this page.

NEET 2024 Provisional Answer Key and OMR Sheet Released

NTA has released the provisional answer key and OMR sheets for the NEET 2024 retest held on June 23, 2024. The challenge submission window has opened on June 28, 2024, and the last date is June 29, 2024, 11 PM.

The fee to submit challenge against each answer key or OMR sheet is INR 200, and the process is completely online. NTA has stated, “The National Testing Agency has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheet and Recorded Responses for NEET (UG) – 2024 on the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ for candidates to challenge.”

NTA has also sent a scanned image of the NEET 2024 Retest OMR Answer Sheet has been sent on the registered e-mail addresses. NTA added, “Candidates are being given an opportunity to make an online challenge against the provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 per answer challenged, within a specified period as indicated above. Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a nonrefundable processing fee of INR 200 per question challenged.”

How to Submit Challenge against NEET 2024 Provisional Answer Keys

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to submit challenges against the NEET 2024 answer keys.

NEET (UG) – 2024

Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology 

  • The number next to the Question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most  appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.
  • If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
  • You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single PDF file).
  • After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) - 2024 ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen.
  • You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
  • Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
  • Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee of INR 200 for each question challenged.
  • Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

How to Submit Challenges Against NEET 2024 OMR Sheet

The procedure to submit challenges against the NEET 2024 OMR sheet are given below:

NEET (UG) – 2024

  • Select Question(s) for which you wish to challenge the Recorded Response.
  • The number next to the Question under the column ‘Captured Response as per OMR Sheet’ stands for the option opted by the Candidates in the OMR Answer Sheets.
  • Once you select any Question for Challenge, you will see three options under the column ‘Candidate’s Claim’.
  • If you wish to challenge this option, you may use the Options given in the ‘Candidate’s Claim’ column.
  • After clicking your desired option, for Physics / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology for  NEET (UG) - 2024, scroll down, ‘Submit’, and move to the next screen.
  • You will see a screen displaying your challenges. 12. Click on ‘Submit' and Pay Fee Finally’.
  • Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee of INR 200 for each question/grade challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt

NTA conducted the NEET 2024 re-examination for 1,563 candidates who had experienced time loss during the originally scheduled examination on May 5, 2024, and were awarded compensatory marks on the recommendation of High-Powered Committee. As many as 813 candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted in six NEET 2024 exam centres located in seven cities and five states across India.

The final answer keys and NEET 2024 retest result will be declared on June 30, 2024.
