NEET 2025 Registration (Started) @neet.nta.nic.in Live Updates: How to fill NEET UG Form

The NEET 2025 exam pattern has been changed. The latest NEET pattern and structure states that it is a paper-pencil-based test (PBT) or offline test of three hours duration. The exam will consist of 180 questions, 45 each from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions in Biology. All 180 questions will be compulsory to attempt. The questions are objective-type and carry multiple-choice or four-answer options. The correct answer option has to be marked by shading the corresponding circle on the OMR sheet with a blue/black ballpoint pen provided at the test centre. Last year there were 20 optional questions and the duration was 20 minutes more than the current duration. 

The NEET 2025 eligibility criteria remained the same as last year. Take a look at the eligibility criteria below.

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India. Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of India Origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are also eligible to appear for NEET if they wish to pursue MBBS or any other medical courses accepting NEET scores from an institute in India.

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will attain the same by December 31, 2025, or the last date of the year. Accordingly, the minimum date of birth of candidates should be December 31, 2008. There is no upper age limit for NEET.

Educational and Qualifying Marks Criteria: Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects individually in the qualifying examination. The qualifying aggregate for General, General-PWD and Reserved category candidates is 50 per cent, 45 per cent and 40 per cent respectively.

NEET 2025 password can be reset by following the below steps:

• Using Security Questions and its Answer chosen during Form filling.
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to candidates' Registered Mobile No.
• Using a reset link sent via Email to their Registered Email address.

While creating the password, candidates have to fulfil the following criteria:

• Password must be 8 to 13 characters.
• Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet.
• Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
• Password must have at least one numeric value.
• Password must have at least one special character eg.!@#$%^&*-.

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM, as per Indian Standard Time (IST). 

The NEET 2025 exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025. The date was predicted even before the official notification. This year's NEET date is in sync with previous years' dates. As of now, there is less than three months left for the exam.
