NEET aspirant from WB died in Kota after falling from 6th floor of hostel

In a suspected accidental death, Ishanshu Bhattacharya, a NEET aspirant from West Bengal, died after falling from the sixth floor of his hostel in Kota. As per the police, he died on the spot. The incident happened at midnight when he reportedly lost balance and fell from the balcony of the 6th floor.

In a tragic incident, a young National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) aspirant from West Bengal, who was living in Kota to prepare for the entrance test, fell from his hostel's balcony and died on the spot.

Ishanshu Bhattacharya was a 20-year-old NEET aspirant, who fell from the sixth floor of the building and died. He was declared brought dead by a hospital, said Circle Officer Amar Singh, as reported by NDTV.

He came to Kota in August last year. The suspected accident occurred at midnight when he along with his three hostel mates were talking on the balcony on the building's sixth floor and while going back to his rooms, he lost his balance and fell.

Recently many suicide cases of NEET aspirants were also reported from Kota. The latest is of Ranjeet, a resident of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh who committed suicide on Monday. As per the report, he was undergoing stress and left a suicide note which has spiritual content written in it. The exact reason behind his suicide is not clear.

Many such suicide cases in recent times have raised numerous questions about the mental stress the aspirants are going through while preparing for national-level medical and engineering entrance exams.
