NEET MDS 2021 will be held in an online mode. Each candidate will be allocated a separate computer. Read further to know the important guidelines to be followed on NEET MDS 2021 exam day.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is all set to conduct the NEET MDS 2021 exam today; i.e December 16, 2020. The Board had released the NEET MDS admit card 2021 on December 10. The NBE conducts the NEET MDS exam. The NEET MDS is a single entrance exam for admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by the institutions in India. National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination or NEET for MDS courses is conducted once a year and is the only legitimate entrance test for admission to the Masters in Dental Surgery programmes across the country. 

On the basis of NEET MDS, a total of 6,501 seats are offered for admission to 50 per cent  All India Quota (AIQ), 50 per cent state quota, and all deemed/central universities. Since the NEET MDS 2021 exam is being conducted amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, students must read the important guidelines to be followed on exam day below. 

NEET MDS 2021: Exam Day Guidelines

NEET MDS 2021 will be held in an online mode. Each candidate will be allocated a separate computer. A few guidelines for NEET MDS 2021 exam day are:

  • Candidates must wear a mask all the time. Candidates must ensure that the mask covers their mouth and nose.
  • Candidates will be allowed to wear hand gloves inside the exam centre
  • Candidates will be allowed to carry their own hand sanitiser and water bottle with them
  • They must ensure that they are carrying three important documents to the examination hall: NEET MDS admit card, valid photo Id proof and a passport-sized photograph
  • Candidates must report to the NEET MDS 2021 Exam Centre at least 2 hours prior to the examination
  • They must follow the safety protocols defined by the NBE at all times 
  • Do not carry bags, books, pen, papers, notes, etc. to the examination centre
  • Electronics such as calculator, mobile phone, smartwatch, pagers, Bluetooth, etc. are prohibited inside the examination hall
  • Do not carry food to the examination hall
  • Visit the exam centre of NEET MDS 2021 one day before the examination to get an idea of the location
