NEET MDS 2024: There is a fake notice circulating on various social media platforms that suggests the NEET MDS 2024 examination will be held on February 25, 2024.
After the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) exam has been postponed to July 7, 2024, the NEET MDS 2024 exam is expected to be held in the third week of March 2024.
The fake notice says that NEET MDS 2024 shall now be held on February 25, 2024. The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility is May 2024, claimed the notice.
Latest Update: NBE released a notice on its official website stating the exam date has been postponed to March 18, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 result and the cutoff will be released on March 31, 2024.

All India Students Dental Association/DENTODONTICS warned the aspirants about the fake notice and said on X reads, “Beware of a false NEET MDS 2024 postponement notice. Rely on official updates and stay tuned for accurate information. @mansukhmandviya and @MoHFW_INDIA. please take note. Kindly Release official notice for #NEETMDS2024POSTPONEMENT”
A total of 6,501 Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats are offered under 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota seats, and 100% seats in deemed/central universities and private colleges through the exam.
The exam will be held in the Computer-based mode for admission to MDS/PG Diploma (Dental). The exam duration will be 3 hours, the total marks will be 960, and the total number of questions will be 240.
Aspirants demand NEET MDS 2024 postponement on X
The aspirants have taken to X to demand the postponement of NEET MDS 2024.
All India Students Dental Association/DENTODONTICS said on X, “"REVOLT for NEET MDS 2024": Ignite rebellion to push entrance exam to July! Unleash your strength through uproar of emails and tweets. Let's fuel movement with passion. Roar with us using #PostponeNEETMDS2024toJuly. Hear plea @mansukhmandviya and let the spirit of change prevail.”
Another message on X reacted to the exam being expected in the third week of March and said, “Can you please confirm this new...This is creating panic among neet mds aspirants.. kindly take notice of this”
"Concerned about NEET MDS 2024 being scheduled for March as per ANI news, instead of July. Why this sudden change when no official notification has been issued yet? According to point no. 3 schedule should be together in july,” reads another message on X.
