NEET MDS 2024 Likely to Get Postponed? Aspirants Ask NBE for Latest Updates

There is exactly one month left for the NEET MDS 2024 exam date. NBE, the exam conducting body of the exam is yet to issue the NEET MDS 2024 application form, which has given rise to the speculation that the exam date will get postponed. The NEET MDS 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on February 9, 2024. However, there is no update on the application process yet. Given the fact that there is just a month left for the exam, there is a high possibility that the NEET MDS 2024 exam date will get postponed.

In general, the NEET MDS application process begins approximately two months before the exam date. Last year, the NEET MDS exam was held on March 1, 2023, and the application process was conducted from January 9, 2023, to January 31, 2023.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had announced the post graduate entrance exam calendar on November 9, 2023, and had mentioned the tentative date of NEET MDS 2024 as February 9, 2024. Apart from the exam date, no other schedule was mentioned.

Along with the NEET MDS 2024, the exam dates for NEET PG, FMGE December 2023, DNB/DrNB practical exam dates were also announced. The NEET PG 2024 application process has also not started yet.

Moreover, with the NBE website being suspended since last night is an indication that there will be change in the NEET MDS 2024 exam schedule. Even though the NBE website has started functioning again, there is still no notification about NEET MDS 2024 application process or any other notification.

Latest Update: NBE released a notice on its official website stating the exam date has been postponed to March 18, 2024. The NEET MDS 2024 result and the cutoff will be released on March 31, 2024.
