NEET MDS counselling 2020 recommences after a long pause. MCC has released the seat allotment list for the first round of NEET MDS 2020 counselling.

NEET MDS 2020 counselling is back on track with the release of the seat allotment list for the first round. The seat allotment list was released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the competent authority for NEET MDS counselling 2020. The provisional seat allotment list for the first round of counselling was released on April 9 and the final list was released on April 11.

Candidates who have been allocated a seat in the NEET MDS counselling 2020, willing to continue with the same, need to report to the allotted institute on or before April 20. However, in view of the COVID-19 situation in India, an online reporting facility has also been introduced this year.

NEET MDS 2020 was conducted on December 20. Only those candidates who had qualified the examination were eligible to participate in the counselling of NEET MDS 2020.

NEET MDS Counselling 2020: How COVID-19 Affected the Reporting Phase

Considering the effect of COVID-19 on transportation, MCC has introduced the facility of online reporting. Candidates who are unable to report to the allocated institute personally can use this facility. However, the admission of such candidates will be provisional and shall be confirmed only upon completion of the document verification process. Both online and offline modes of NEET MDS 2020 counselling reporting have been compared below for reference.
