NEET PG 2022 aspirants to meet Mansukh Mandaviya today
After writing to Health Ministry, NEET PG 2022 aspirants are now all set to meet Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to urge him to postpone the examination by a minimum 8 weeks.
As per reports coming in, NEET PG 2022 aspirants are going to meet Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya today to demand postponement of NEET PG 2022 examination. The aspirants have been demanding this on social media. They have even written to the Prime Minister Modi and President of India that if the examination date is not deferred, they will be left with no choice but to surrender their medical degrees.
Why aspirants demanding NEET PG 2022 postponement?
The medical students' associations are mostly citing the reason being not enough gap between NEET 2021 counselling and NEET 2022 exam date.
As per the letter written to the Health Ministry, "The difference between exam date and mop up end is too short for an aspirant to prepare for exam. This creates stressfull condition for a midranker students who form huge chunk of the appearing candidates as they have hope to do better if they do not get seat in counseling but yet they wont perform well due to lack of time."
Moreover, as per these aspirants, nearly 5000 interns who served during Covid-19 pandemic as Covid warrior are ineligible to appear for exam due to delay in their final examination. This was due to them being posted in Covid duties.
All India Dental Student Association/DENTODONTICS tweet reads, "Today aspirants belonging to #NEETPG & #NEETMDS are going to submit their respective memorandums in meeting with @mansukhmandviya. Rest assured both aspirants going to discuss their matters seperately one after other & submit their memorandums during their respective discussions."
