What is a good score in NEET?

The total marks in NEET is 720 and students often wonder, what is a good score in NEET? It would depend on various factors such as your performance, vis-a-is your preparation tenure. For a repeat candidate, a score of 600+ may not be good enough provided the time and effort he had put.  At the same time, a student who did not prepare much and performed under unfavourable circumstances may find a score of 500 to be good.

Below is the table based on the analysis of the previous year's scores and trends:

    NEET Score Type

    NEET Score Range

    Very Good Score

    650 to 700

    Good Score

    550 to 650

    Average Score

    400 to 550

    Low Score

Once the NEET 2023 final answer key is released, candidates will come to know whether their submitted challenges have been validated by NTA or not. Moreover, they may also check the answer options of questions which showed 5 as the correct answer option. For such questions, candidates will get a bonus of four marks. However, there is a caveat.
