NEET SS 2023 Cutoff Reduced from 50th to 20th Percentile; Check Group-wise Revised Cutoffs Here
NEET SS 2023 cutoff has been reduced from 50th percentile to 20th percentile. Based on the letter by the Ministry of Health, Government of India, NBEMS has released the revised cutoff for each of the 13 groups of NEET SS 2023. NEET SS 2023 Cutoff Reduced
The NEET SS 2023 cutoff has been reduced from 50th percentile to 20th percentile, as per the recommendation by the National Medical Commission (NMC). While the NEET SS counselling 2023 is underway, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has recommended to reduce the NEET SS cutoff 2023 to 20 points.
"The issue has been considered by the Ministry in consultation with National Medical Commission (NMC). The NMC has recommended for cut off qualifying percentile for NEET SS-2023 may be reduced to 20 points. The recommendation of the NMC has been approved by the Hon'ble HFM. It is requested to take further necessary action in this matter," reads a letter by the Government of India sent to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body.
NEET SS Cutoff 2023 (Revised)
Accordingly, NBEMS has released the revised NEET SS cutoff 2023 for each of the specialisations, which is given in the table below.

The NEET SS 2023 exam was conducted on September 29 and September 30 and the result was declared on October 15. The NEET SS 2023 counselling has started on November 8. The first round was concluded on November 30. The Round 2 counselling was scheduled to begin on December 5 but has been postponed.
